3 foods that can keep your heart healthy

Nuts
Go nuts for nuts as a heart healthy meal enhancement! The American Heart Association recommends eating about four servings of unsalted nuts each week.
Nuts are known for containing omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and vitamin E. These components help to lower LDL cholesterol, improve the lining of arteries and reduce inflammation.
Almonds and walnuts are great options to consider adding to your next snack, salad or bowl of oatmeal.
